We are always looking for ways to honor our undergraduate advisors.
The Outstanding Academic Advisor Award recognizes a member of the academic advising community that exemplifies high quality work and has made a significant impact in their position as an academic advisor. The award recipient will receive an award plaque and will be nominated by the Advisor Institute for the NACADA Region 3 Advisor Primary Role award for the following year. Nominations can come from students, faculty and staff and are due by March 29, 2019.
The Provost’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Advising honors advising centers, academic departments, programs, or units with a $2,500 award in recognition of maintaining high-quality undergraduate academic advising. Nominations can come from college deans or associate provosts and are usually due in March.
The National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) offers a variety of awards, scholarships, and grants to members who have expressed excellence in advising.
