Study abroad is an exciting and transformative educational experience for students. However, there are many myths surrounding study abroad and uncertainty of how best to advise students. This session, will cover the study abroad process at UNC Charlotte and how to best assist interested students. Topics will include program options, courses and grade processing, finances, policies, as well as an overview of myths that surround study abroad. This session will also provide the opportunity to discuss issues that arise when working with study abroad students and how the Office of Education Abroad can assist any office working with students interested in study abroad.
